The company was established in 2001 to provide assistance with dental services to the State’s Medicaid population. Dental services were very difficult to find and access for Medicaid recipients, especially on the neighbor islands. CCMC worked together with local support groups to actively develop a provider network on each of the islands. Access to dental care has improved significantly since then, but the issue now is one of trying to increase Medicaid member utilization of the covered dental services.
We can help families and individuals by providing information on available participating Medicaid dental providers where you live and directing you to the dental provider nearest you. We especially want children to go to the dentist every year to keep their teeth healthy well into their adult years.
